At Northwood Outdoor Services, originally established in 2019 and proudly owned by us since 2025, our mission is to redefine outdoor living through craftsmanship, intention, and distinctive design. Alongside Northwood, we founded Eagle Hardscapes in 2020 to bring a specialized, design-forward approach to hardscape construction.
In 2026, we relocated our shop to Otsego, expanding our full-time presence in the Twin Cities area. This move allows us to deliver a higher level of service, precision, and client experience — the kind that discerning homeowners expect and deserve.
Our signature style blends the rugged, natural stone influence of Colorado with the refined, structured elegance of Minnesota landscapes. Drawing inspiration from Colorado’s native evergreens and mountainous terrain, we incorporate strong vertical elements, layered evergreen plantings, and year-round structure into our designs. The result is a curated outdoor aesthetic that feels elevated, timeless, and distinct — offering depth and texture even through the winter months. We intentionally design spaces that stand apart — not repeating what every other company is building, but crafting environments with character, architectural presence, and lasting visual impact.
We chose to purchase Northwood because we felt called back to an area that reflects where our careers first took shape — working closely with clients who value craftsmanship, detail, and long-term investment in their homes. Returning to this market allows us to serve homeowners who appreciate thoughtful design and quality construction, while building a business rooted in the standards that shaped us from the beginning.

"Northwood Outdoor Services did a fantastic job on our front patio project. Ally really listened to our wants and ideas and came up with a great plan for our budget. She really understood our style and designed a beautiful project. Drainage was taken into consideration, including an underground pipe with a popup in the yard to keep ice off the pathway. Patterns of the pavers define a walkway that helps direct visitors to the front door. The view we would see out our front window was important to us and their design considered that. The whole project unifies our existing grape arbor, the front yard, water spigot and rain barrel area, all the way through to the back deck. The seating wall adds coziness with some privacy yet keeps us connected with our yard and passing neighbors. We really love the view out our front living room window and look forward to enjoying interesting vistas changing with the seasons.
